What is Clayful?

Clayful helps students talk to real, human coaches where they share tools, tips, and ask you questions to help you better understand yourself and your goals in your life.

Here’s what you can expect:

💬 Quick, easy chats: Talk to a coach anytime before, during, and after school

🛠️ Tools and tips: Coaches will give you ideas and strategies to help.

🌱 Support that works for you: Whether you want help setting goals, need a listening ear, or feel stuck, a coach is here for you.

Can my school see my chats?

No. Your school knows students are using Clayful, and your answers stay private unless:

  • You or someone else might be in danger
  • You tell us someone’s hurting you or not taking care of you
  • The law requires us to share (like Child Find, a court order, etc.)
  • You need extra help with something serious, like learning or housing

If something does come up, we’ll only share what’s needed — and only with people who can actually help.

Still have questions? Feel free to ask a coach.

Can I chat with the same coach next time?

Clayful coaches take notes and work as a team, so even if you get a new coach, they’ll know where you left off and can jump right in. Coaches have all been trained through Clayful's coaching standards, so you can expect the same level of support each chat.

Can coaches see my name?

Nope! Coaches only know your age, grade, and notes from your last chat to help with what’s going on in your life. Being anonymous lets you open up about what's really going on, without any fear of judgement.

Are Clayful Coaches real people?

Yes! Clayful coaches are real humans, certified in coaching, located all over the US. We go through an extensive vetting process before letting someone become a Clayful coach.

Is Clayful only for people who are overwhelmed, or can I talk about other things?

You can chat about anything! Students come to Clayful to chat about school, goals, relationships, or even small stuff like organizing your day. Coaches share tools, tips, and ask you questions to help you better understand yourself and your goals in your life.

Is coaching like therapy, or is it something different?

Clayful is coaching, not therapy—focused on tackling challenges and planning your future, not digging into the past.
